The intension of the thesis is to develop individual thinking and to afford students the opportunity of engaging in and demonstrating their ability to perform work of a research nature. At an appropriate stage the nature and requirement of the thesis are explained and discussed with the students. The widest possible latitude is allowed in the choice of topic with the basic requirement being that the thesis should be concerned with the property and construction industry.
