The most important morphological and syntactic elements of German are introduced and practised using grammatical and linguistic terminologies and categories. Topics and /or Situations: Nature and environment; Germans outside German and foreigners abroad; media and politics; old people; books; talking about the weather, the geography of the Federal Republic of Germany, forests, environmental protection etc.; discussions about holidays and holiday making and travel experiences; political parties in Germany, the election system, reunification. Grammar: Constructions with es; relative pronouns, relative clauses; lassen, zun + infinitive; indirect questions; constructions with um … zu and damit; negation; verbs with prepositional complement; reciprocative verbs.
