This course introduces students to the theory and principles underpinning insurance law in Uganda from a contractual and regulatory point of view.
By the end of the Semester, students will be expected to appreciate the theories of insurance; illustrate a good grasp of insurance law principles; the applicability of statutes and case law and also to articulate issues arising from, and deficiencies, in this area of the law.
