Course Description & Objectives: 

i) To improve the leadership skills of students graduating from the Bachelor of Environmental Health Science programme.ii) To improve the delivery of environmental health services to communities.

Learning Outcomes: 

By the end of this course, the student should be able to:i)   Apply factors which motivate people to perform their dutiesii)   Decide when, how, why and whom to delegate authority and responsibilityiii)  Choose the style of supervision that suits the team and working environmentiv) Appreciate the role of leadership qualities and political involvement in promoting environmental health.
