The course discusses Theologies of Liberation in the context of oppression and injustice. It sets out to present a general account of liberation theology; investigating its origins, examining its method and analysing the key themes. This is done with the sole objective of leading the student towards building functional theological mechanisms for the transformation of our present dehumanizing world (society) into a new world of a more humane and dignified life for all.
