Course Description & Objectives:

This course in Managerial Accounting has been designed to enable the student acquire the skills necessary to use, interpret and analyze accounting data. The ultimate objective is to enable the student to become a better manager. This course combines the aspects of managerial decision making in financial accounting, cost accounting and management accounting. Objectives:

Understand the principles used to prepare financial statements.
Learn how to read and understand financial statements and to observe the effects of routine business transactions on them.
Acquire the skills necessary to read, interpret and perform the calculations for the accounting

At the end of the course the student should be able:

Understand the principles and process of financial and management accounting reporting.
Learn how to use, interpret and understand accounting information and to observe the effects of business transactions on accounting information and the overall business performance and growth.
