Effective Communication is such an important character needed if businesses are to operate effectively in today’s very dynamic and challenging environment. The world is fast becoming a global village, as a result of this, individuals, companies, and nations are carrying out businesses across borders and continents, companies are employing people from diverse cultures, technological developments are fueling the rapid growth and development of companies, etc, thus there is a need to understand the dynamics of effective communication in the business.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      Objectives:

  • To appreciate the role of effective communication in the smooth running of businesses
  • To conceptualize the contemporary business environment and the dynamics involved
  • To describe how organizations share information both internally and externally
  • To understand and analyse business reports and other items through which company information can be utilized for bettering organizational environment.
Learning Outcomes: 

At the end of the course the participants’ should be able to:

  • To appreciate the role of effective communication in the smooth running of businesses
  • To engage the contemporary business environment and its dynamics for strategic improvement
  • To apply the negotiation skills on their job and business environment.
  • Should be able to effectively communicate to wider public audience and through other means of administrative communication that promotes corporate image and enterprise.
  • To apply the different forms of communication in enhancing organizational effectiveness.
