Course Description & Objectives:
The course intends to equip students with knowledge and skills in Financial Management. By the end of the course, students should be able to:
- Appreciate the scope of Financial Management and make a distinction between financial management, management accounting & financial accounting.
- Analyze and make informed, rational decisions in the key financial management areas of a firm especially investment analysis, management of working capital, long term and short term assets and management of company finances and earnings.
- Make financial analysis for meeting business challenges in finance.
