Course Description & Objectives: 

This course introduces the student to the practical imperatives of the architectural profession. The studentcovers elementary mathematics applied in problem solving of architectural design challenges.Objectives/aim:• To provide an introductory treatment of mathematical concepts fundamental to architecturalproblems.• To consolidate and advance the material covered in Pre-University Mathematics.• To develop the analytical and critical thinking abilities fundamental to problem solving inarchitecture

Learning Outcomes: 

On completing this course the student should be able to apply mathematical models and approaches ofsolving design problems.
