- Distribution and properties of natural Chemotherapeutic agents, Extraction and processing of active agents, Important medicinal plants of East and South Africa, Pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of drugs, Classification efficacy and potency of drugs.
- Advanced molecular and pharmacological techniques, Theory and practice of chromatography. Drug Incubation Inhibition Test. Drug sensitivity determination, generation number and population doubling time for cells in culture. Cell counting and calculation of seeding density.
