This course introduces to participants the concepts, analytical issues and practices in the field of public policy, with special reference to developing nations and Uganda in particular. The course will provide a basic understanding of public policy processes and its associated analytical frameworks; the contemporary dilemmas in policy-making, implementation, monitoring and evaluation; and mechanisms to improve policy for development.
