Course Description & Objectives: 

The course is designed to provide physical education. Teacher with basic and underlying coaching philosophies, organizing and managing competitive school teams, and sports programs in schools. Knowledge teaching skills, techniques which influence coaching effectiveness and improve performance.  The course also explores recent advanced teaching and coaching techniques and analysis of individual and group activity. 

Learning Outcomes: 

At the end of each lesson the student will be able to:

  1. Understand the philosophy of coaching
  2. Develop a coaching philosophy
  3. Apply scientific knowledge to coaching
  4. Organize and manage individual and team sports
  5. Develop means of Teaching skills
  6. Understand sports psychology
  7. Take care of participants in terms of injury and first aid
