Course Description & Objectives: 

The course draws on the knowledge covered in the previous four years to address challenges of projectmanagement, in a holistic way, following the project cycle. The course is another important input in thepreparation of the graduate architect.Objectives/aim:To introduce the student to the following:o Appreciate the life cycle in the context of building projectso Know the sources of funding for building projectso Make simple economic comparisons of building projectso Understand the key knowledge areas in Project Managemento Management of building projectso Use project management software in planning such as Ms Project

Learning Outcomes: 

On completing this course the student should be able to:• Apply the knowledge gained in the course to address management challenges of an architecturalconstruction project.• Write feasibility study reports for small building projects.• To management construction projects.
