Students learn an overview of project Development and Planning, with special emphasis on identification, preparation, appraisal, implementation, and evaluation. The course contextualizes the sociological variables in project development and implementation, and offers extended case studies of development successes and failures. The course components include Project cycle; Management of project planning; the logical framework analysis (LFA); Project analysis, including financial, economic, environmental and social cost-benefit analysis; Project implementation; Monitoring and evaluation.
