Course Description & Objectives: 

The Project and Programme Management course takes a holistic approach to determine how to manage projects and programmes through their life cycles and within their scope/ context. This course provides students with several project management techniques/ tools and approaches to apply when estimating project resources, timing and critical activities.

Learning Outcomes: 

Upon completion of this course students will be able to:

  • Prepare project and programme plans to meet objectives and requirements
  • Manage a project and/ or programme  through its life cycle
  • develop and maintain project documentation to support achievement of project objectives
  • Manage project/programme cost, schedule and quality
  • Assess risk and apply suitable interventions to support completion of the project /programme
  • Use tools and techniques to support decision-making and reporting processes
