Course Description & Objectives: 

The course introduces students to different interpretations of right and wrong, crime and how these crimes should be punished from different religious perspectives e.g. Sharia Law. Religious perspectives on forms of Punishments especially the Death penalty and inter and Intra-religious crimes are part of the course. In addition, relationship between Religions, the Law and the courts as well as Treatment of Offenders are covered.
