This course is an analysis of necessary skills needed to understand and manage independent research. These skills include choosing topics and samples; designing questionnaires; collecting and analyzing data; writing research proposals and dissertations. Included are issues of understanding and managing independent research; principles of writing; topic identification; designing research instruments and techniques of research; proposal writing; research ethics; reviewing literature.
