Course Description & Objectives: 

The course aims at training the students in the art of carrying out an objective and scholarly research project. It comprises of a theoretical and a practical component. In the theoretical the students are exposed to the methodology of scientific research. In the practical they are drilled in the application of these methods of research in designing and writing a research proposal before embarking on their own (selected), supervised field research projects. The student is assured that the skills acquired in this course are applicable in any field or profession.
