Course Description & Objectives: 

The course is designed to provide students with the ability to identify business risks and their causes. Students will also be guided to critically analyze the nature and impact of business risks on firm’s operations.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            Objectives or Aims:The course will help the students to achieve the following objectives:

  • Identify business risks and their causes
  • Understand the nature and impact of business risks on a firm’s operations
  • Explain business risk management techniques and risk programs for companies
  • Explain measures taken by Ugandan financial institutions to manage risks.

 

Learning Outcomes: 

Students should be able to;
