Shorthand 1B

Theory continues as in semester I through the New Course text to the end of the text bookBuilding up speed on the material covered in the text, with other relevant materials suitable at this level.Class dictation should be limited to S.I, 1.2 and 1.3 on seen passages and speeds should be between 50 – 60 wpm.  Two short passages at speeds between 50 and 60wpm with 1.2 and 1.3 Syllabic Intensity, lasting 3 minutes each. Theory questions will also be set as well as transcription of a passage printed in shorthand.
