The course exposes students to various theories advanced in curriculum formulation.  It focuses on the curriculum formulation processes, implementation, and evaluation.  It looks at various approaches, methods, techniques and strategies of teaching social studies.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         Objectives:

  1. To examine theories of advance curriculum formulation in SSE
  2. To examine the implementation and evaluation exercise in SSE.
  3. To examine the strategies of teaching advanced SSE.
  4. To examine research procedures in SSE.
