Course Description & Objectives: 

Introduction to the basic concepts in criminal law and criminal law practice to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to study, analyze, and interpret the criminal phenomena. It encourages students to develop a critical mind towards basic issues in the study of deviance and crime; the sociology of law; administration of justice; punishment of offenders; prevention and control of crime and criminal policy.
