This course is an introduction to the elements of organizational theory - the principles and practice of administration of people at work. Specifically, it is aimed at providing an awareness of the nature of organizational structures and processes, theories and principles; the ability to analyze organizational structure and processes; and the ability to apply such knowledge to organizations in the local context.
