Course Description & Objectives: 

This course aims to provide to students a critical understanding of issues affecting the management of people in organizations and how this affects organizational, productivity, growth and effectiveness. It introduces Human Resource Management concepts, theories, techniques and processes. By the end of the course, students should be able to appreciate, not only, the cardinal role that the Human Resources play in determining organizational success, but should also be able to comprehend better practices and strategies for effective HR acquisition and retention.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Objectives:The key objective of this course is to train and equip participants with adequate knowledge, skills and abilities to attract, retain and effectively utilise human capital for organisational success. Specifically, it will enable them to:

  • Become effective strategists and policy managers of organisations, who can execute HR managerial roles and practices.
  • Develop, manage and consolidate the HR functions to promote organisational performance and client satisfaction.
