Course Description & Objectives: 

This programme builds on the knowledge that has been acquired in different functional areas of management namely; Marketing, Finance, Operations and Human Resource Management. It brings together in one whole the different perspectives of an organization and enables the student to see how top management runs the organization. Using case studies, the student is exposed to the concepts of strategy and taken through analysis, choice, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and control.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Objectives: More specifically, the objectives of the course are:- 

  • To develop an understanding of the concepts of strategy, its relevance and importance within the broader scope of organizational planning and decision making
  •  
  • To enable students analyze the environment both internal and external to the organization so as to identify the key issues for strategy formulation
