Building on Writing Skills I, this more advanced writing course enables students to consolidate the skills developed earlier and to appreciate and demonstrate more sophisticated writing techniques and rules such as avoidance of plagiarism and observance of routine legal and ethical guidelines for writers.
At the end of this course students should be able to:1. Write critical reviews of books and other media2. Write informed and well-argued opinion pieces3. Write clear, concise as well as properly sourced and referenced essays4. Write effectively for online media
