Critical Care Medicine, Palliative Care and Radiology.

  • This course includes topics in critical care medicine with rotation in the intensive care unit, Cardiovascular and respiratory support, acute cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, renal and endocrine emergency management is covered.
  • Students are to monitoring in ICU, defibrillation, nebulization, resuscitation, and blood gas analysis.
  • They acquire skills in dialysis, endoscopies and pacemaker management.

Cardiology

Objectives: By the end of the course the candidate should be well versed with all methods of non-invasive cardiology.  He should be able to conservatively manage all of the prevalent cardiac diseases and should know the indications for invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Infectious Diseases & Immunology.

By the end of the course, the student acquires the basic knowledge and skills in the diagnosis, therapy and prevention of common and important infectious diseases and acquires clinical data gathering skills as well as skills in interpreting clinical and laboratory data related to infectious diseases.
