This course gives an introduction to analytic methods for solving partial differential equations. It also introduces learners to the famous Sturm-Liouville theory for ordinary differential equations.
A candidate should posses a good first degree in mathematics or mathematics combined with another subject.
Applicants seeking admission to a particular area of specialisation must show prior competence in the area.
