The Soil Science graduate program offers graduate work leading to the Doctor of Philosophy degree with areas of specialization in rizosphere science, soil biogeochemistry, soil chemistry, soil fertility and plant nutrition, soil genesis and classification, soil management and conservation, soil microbiology and biochemistry, soil mineralogy, soil and water environmental quality, soil physics, and precision natural resource management. Our faculty has a wide array of intrestests in agricultural, environmental, and basic soil science questions.
