Course Description & Objectives:
- This is a core course that must be passed by all students.
- The student will be attached to an active practice of paediatrics in a hospital. Will work in the admission units, special clinics, investigate, attend and guide ward rounds, attend tutorial and clinical teaching as is done in the Department of Paediatrics. She or He will be expected to acquire skills and an attitude to enable her/him care professionally for a sick child. The necessary skills for assessing children, integrating information, making judgement plan and proper treatment of children will have to be demonstrated.
