This introduces students to the environmental and health hazards caused during petroleum exploration and development operations, including the safety and remedial measures.  

Learning Outcomes: 

At the end of the course the students are expected to:

  • Describe the skills of proper, sustainable use and management of petroleum operations.
  • Manage petroleum spills.
  • Explain the requirements of a Petroleum Environmental Impact Statement.
