This course covers key concepts in reproductive health and child survival. It introduces the student to the period of pregnancy and childhood and the major challenges in these periods. The course involves tutorials, clinical exposures   and lectures. 

Learning Outcomes: 

At the end of this course students will be able to:

  • Discuss the health challenges associated with reproduction and key interventions that can be used..
  • Explain the challenges of childhood and different child survival strategies.
