Advanced Keyboard

This course is a continuation of MUS 1209.It continues to emphasizekeyboard playing, music reading, and keyboard techniques at a higher level. Studentsare required to participate in the Departmental Performances.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                Objectives

• To consolidate the already learned keyboard skills
• To enhance the student’s ability to improvise while playing in band set-up
• To develop further the music theory related to keyboard playing
• To enhance the use of the pre-recorded drum beats, in order to add the percussion part of the keyboard
