This course will illustrate the cultural, and social aspects of the body, health, sickness and healing. It will introduce diverse theoretical perspectives in anthropology of health and health care.

Learning Outcomes: 

By the end of this course, the student should be able to:1. Describe the anthropological theories governing health and health care2. Describe the importance of cultural and social aspects in governing health and health care in a population.
