Course Description & Objectives: 

Individual design research, investigation, observation, drawing, illustration, etc. for creative design concept development for decoration and finishing of garments using various techniques like patchwork, appliqué, embroidery, etc. Pattern drafting of adaptable styles and understanding of Garment construction principles.

Learning Outcomes: 

Students are expected to have acquired a good understanding of research, illustration of designs, garment decoration and finishing skills which can be used to start up commercial projects of their own.
