Course Description & Objectives: 
  • The course covers important aspects of pharmacology related to anaesthesia.
  • To enable trainees to acquire detailed knowledge of anaesthetic drugs and other drugs commonly used in Anaesthesia as well as resuscitation since the modern practice of Clinical Anaesthesia, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and critical care medicine are entirely based on drugs.  
Learning Outcomes: 
  • Ability to appropriately use drugs used in anaesthesia practice
  • Identify their adverse effects and their treatment
