Course Description & Objectives:

The course is intended to expose students to an in-depth analysis of Children's Literature in terms of its nature, form, and concerns.

Furthermore, the impact of Children's Literature on the children's psyche, cognitive development and behavioral patterns will be studied.
An analysis will also be made on the cross-cultural differences and similarities of Children's Literature. A cross-section of Children's texts will be examined.
