The course focuses on the concepts and techniques of urban and regional planning.Objectives: 1. To develop a wider understanding of various concepts and techniques of Urban and Regional planning. 2. To ensure that the students appreciate the technical and wider use of Urban and Regional Planning concepts and techniques. 3. To provide an overview of the relationship between the various Urban and Regional planning concepts.

Learning Outcomes: 

At the conclusion of this course students will be able to:1. Apply the planning concepts and techniques as they relate to urban and regional areas.2. Gain sufficient depth into regional analysis and practice necessary for meaningful understanding of urban and regional planning.3. Critically think and have an insight into the nebulous subject as professional planners and integrate the various aspects into a systematic framework.
