Course Description & Objectives: 

Marketing for builders and developers in the Ugandan and East African environment with particular emphasis on the marketing mix – provide an overview of the seven marketing instruments of a professional services marketing mix.  The relationship between a marketing system and its environment, development of marketing, tactics and strategy, market segmentation and the buyer decision process.Listing, selling and the auction process.Market Research.  Practical implications of the characteristics of intangible products and the pricing, promotion, placement, physical evidence, process and people dimensions of professional services, international professional standards, and has many graduates that are practicing at all levels of Government and private practice.  At the undergraduate level, the four-year curriculum provides a broad foundation for structural engineering, water resources and hydraulics engineering, environmental engineering, geotechnical engineering, transportation engineering and construction management.  At the fourth year, students are prepared to do an independent study in a field o their choice, as well as choose elective courses.
