The course is hands-on, which empowers the students to implement research project and develop skills in developing research proposal for their dissertation. Objective:
To give the student knowledge and hands-on skills in advanced research methods with bias to health emergencies/disaster situations and to guide the student in developing proposals for research for the thesis
Learning Outcomes:
At the end of the course, the student should be able to:
Develop a researchable project in the realm of health emergency/disaster problem;
Write a dissertation research proposal using principles of scientific writing;
Use computer software to determine appropriate sample sizes, dummy tables to guide data analysis from the research undertaken;
