Elements and Scope Of The Novel

This course is designed as an undergraduate Second Year program for B.A and B.A Education students.  It is a Core course intended to introduce learners to the broad theory of the Novel Genre.  The course offers a survey of the broad aspects of fiction generally and of the novel particularly.  In the course of surveying these aspects, the course will relate them to other genres i.e. poetry, drama, and orature.  The course will also explore the relationship between fiction and real life human experience.
