  1. Definition and Introduction to Environmental Audit.
  2. The history and development of Environmental Audits.
  3. Relationships between Environmental Audits, Environmental Impact Assessments and Environmental Economics.
  4. Principles and functions of Environmental Audits.
  5. The nature of Environmental audits and environmental audit in practice (audit procedures, methods, structures, etc).
  6. Stake holders in the Environmental Audit processes and especially the role of the public. An overview of ISO 1400, 2001, etc and environmental standards in general. Environmental Audit policies and legislations. 
  7. The environmental audit scenario in Uganda.
