Course Description & Objectives: 

This course provides the student with an in-depth understanding of dealing with acoustics, solar energyapplication in buildings, and Environmental Impact Assessment.Objectives/aim:• To understand the importance of acoustic options in a building• To gain an understanding of solar energy and its application in building construction• To appreciate and develop Environmental Impact Assessment plans for construction developments   

Learning Outcomes: 

On completing this course the student should be able to deal with noise, heat and thermal control and solarenergy application in buildings.
