Course Description & Objectives: 

This course is designed to provide and understanding of the physiological effects of exercise on the body systems, with particular emphasis on the musculoskeletal, cardiovascular and respiratory systems and laboratory techniques utilized in monitoring physiological parameters.  

Learning Outcomes: 

 By the end of this course the learners are expect to be able to:-

  1. Outline the history of exercise physiology
  2. Describe and explain how internal environment is controlled
  3. Describe and explain bioenergetics  ( anaerobic and aerobic )
  4. Explain concept related to exercise metabolism
  5. Describe and explain the responses of muscles circulatory and reparation physiology to
  6. Exercise and adaptation  to Training
  7. Explain the physiology on fitness
