Course Description & Objectives:
- Functional anatomy of the musculo-skeletal system (including joints), the cardiovascular system, the respiratory & nervous system, the digestive system, urino-genital system, skin and lymphatics.
- Topography and function will be stressed. Functional physiology relevant to clinical chemistry and clinical pathology will be emphasised. The musculo-skeletal system, vascular system, nervous system, excretory system, reproductive system, digestive system and lymphatics.
- Basics of Cardiology, Electrocardiography and endocardiography. Rationale and basics of Infusion therapy and Physiotherapy. Principles of endocrinology, Immuno-physiology, Nutritional physiology, Respiratory physiology.
