The course furthers knowledge and skills in hand weaving, understanding mechanisms of hand operated looms and different spinning wheels. Production of hand woven fabrics for artistic presentation and industrial purposes.
The course should lead to acquisition of knowledge and skills in spinning yarns, production of functional weaves using hand operated looms with emphasis on choice of materials, tools, techniques and design processes.
