This course explores the causes and consequences of the law governing both individual and corporate inability to pay debts.

Learning Outcomes:

At the end of this course, students should be able to:

Articulate all the statutory aspects of Insolvency legislation in Uganda
Integrate the common law and domestic legal regimes on Insolvency Law in Uganda
Discuss each of the arising obligations and decipher the various rights and obligations arising from Insolvency Law property in Uganda
Solve all problems practical, theoretical, philosophical or otherwise that arise in the spectrum of Insolvency Law in Uganda.
