Course Description & Objectives: 

This course introduces the principles of Epidemiology, Biostatics and Demography, which they relate to community health. The course covers definitions of concepts and terminologies in different fields. It also comprises of four interrelated disciplines of epidemiology, demography, biostatics and health management. 

Learning Outcomes: 

At the end of the course students should be able to:

  • Explain the principles and application of Epidemiology in Community Health Management
  • Explain the principles and roles of Demography to the community health management
  • Explain the principles and application of Biostatistics in Community Health Management
  • Explain  the process and utilization of Health Management Information Systems
