Course Description & Objectives: 

This course is an extension of course KSA 1102. It concentrates on writing skills involving different types of essays including narrative, expository, descriptive, argumentative and academic essays. In addition, the course deals with related aspects of written communication in Kiswahili, including book review, report writing,  taking lecture notes and minutes at a meeting, summary and letter writing of different types.

Learning Outcomes: 
  1. write different types of academic essays
  2. prepare and present reports
  3.  apply different wring conventions in practical writing in Kiswahili
