This course aims at equipping students with basic microbiology knowledge on the aetiology, progression and behavior of many organisms.
The course will introduce students to investigations used in examining clinical specimens. The student will rotate in a microbiology laboratory to learn basic microscopical, cultural and serological techniques used to detect and identify micro-organisms responsible for many diseases and the interpretation of results.
